When Cassie Jordan was young, she fell in love with her best friends, Kyle Watson and Alan Caine. Now how could she ever choose between the two of them? She knew she couldn't have both of them. That was just unheard of in the small town of Preacher's Bend, Idaho.
But after catching Kyle and Alan in a more than compromising position with each other, Cassie hurriedly leaves town to start life over without them. She eventually turns to another man, becoming engaged. After having been gone for three years, Cassie decides it's time to return to the town she grew up in, so she could deal with her unresolved feelings for Kyle and Alan. How could she ever totally commit to her fiance and set a wedding date unless she did?
Alan and Kyle had turned to each other because they didn't want to force Cassie to make a choice between the two of them. Once all the misunderstandings are brought to the forefront, they decide there was no way they were going to let Cassie take off again.
I really enjoyed this book. In fact, I felt it ended a little too quickly. I wanted to reach in and give Cassie a big hug knowing she was having such a difficult time. Poor Alan and Kyle, it took them awhile but they finally got their act together where Cassie was concerned. If you choose to read this story, you won't be disapppointed. Kudos Sierra!
