Five years is a long time to live your life in the shadows, hiding your secrets. Since her parents died, Sapphire Demas and her twin brother have kept to themselves. If the wrong person found out their secrets, it could get them killed. But now Sapphire finds herself craving something more. When she falls over an unconscious man in her woods, she realizes he's just what she's been craving.

Adam Richton is an investigative journalist that can sniff out a scoop anywhere. But when he's rescued after a fall and a hit on the head, all is lost to him except the beautiful woman before him. His attraction keeps him close to Sapphire even after his memory returns with his purpose for being in the woods. Then he chances onto Sapphire's secrets. What will Sapphire do when she finds out who he really is? Can he trust in their new found love?

Anne Rainey has created a wonderful story that grabs the reader's attention and keeps you turning the pages. I just wish the story had been longer. Sapphire's vulnerability is the heart of this story and Adam is the man to heal her. Sapphire and Adam's passion is steamy and naughty and will leave you breathless. Now I'm wondering about Sapphire's brother, Aries. Could his story be on the agenda? I hope so!

Thanks for the wonderful review, Barb! About Aries. I had hoped to do a story for him, but since getting picked up by Kensington my focus has shifted to doing other things. :)

Sounds like an interesting story. Might be something I need to check out.
